Scott
Walker
Licensed since 1975 and a broker since 1977, Scott has had
a multi-faceted career in Southern California real estate
that is extraordinary by any standards. Spanning three recessions
and many changing markets, Scott has gained valuable insight
into the nuances of market shifts from buyer’s to seller’s
markets and back again. While
many new agents are learning about these changes for the first

Scott had a storied career as a partner
in a new home sales and marketing company representing many
of Southern California’s most high profile projects
from San Diego to Santa Barbara, selling over $1 billion and
7,000 individual homes and condominiums. This experience encompassed
knowledge of construction, staging, landscaping, financing,
incentives and professional advertising. He has brought many
of these unique specialties to the resale brokerage side of
the business to the benefit of his clients.
Shifting gears, Scott became an owner/partner
in a Coldwell Banker franchise in the Los Angeles/Orange County
area that has grown to four offices and over 200 agents.
As an owner of one of the
top 25 companies in the United States, Scott has networked
with the best brokers and owners in the world as well as the
leaders of Coldwell Banker, the premier brand in real estate
today. The knowledge gained is not standard
office meeting fair, but leading edge, industry changing concepts
and strategic planning.
Having sold homes throughout Southern California,
Scott, wife Barbara and their three daughters fell to the
attractions of the then small community of Temecula/Murrieta.
Scott played polo, rode horses on the local trails, hiked
and biked through the foothills, played a little golf and
owned a vineyard, truly living the lifestyle he elected to
sell.
Since
1989, Scott has brought his business acumen and professional
approach to the area and has created the Walker Advantage
Team, recognized by Coldwell Banker as the number one selling
team in Temecula/Murrieta and the entire Inland Empire.
By maintaining his interest in the coastal franchise, Scott
has his ear to the ground and understands the market where
many of the buyers for Temecula and Murrieta reside.
Scott is also a partner and mortgage broker
with a large Southern California lender and provides loan
options for clients of the Walker Advantage Team where needed.
In addition, he has extensive knowledge, both personally and
professionally, in real estate investments and IRC 1031 tax
deferred exchanges
